You’re Invited to the
28th Annual Breakthrough Retreat
July 13, 14, 15 at the St. Francis Retreat Center
This summer we will explore the impact of primary and secondary education on our aspirations, inherent curiosity and longing to be fully alive. Primary and secondary education can be so disorienting and traumatic that many boys/men never really get the chance to fulfill their dreams. Many of us who "accomplished" what was expected of us in school, are still stuck in patterns with which we wrestle or with which we are unconsciously at odds. Others were scarred deeply by the experience in the education system. Most all of us are still in need of healing from that experience and yearn to learn in different ways.
In our retreat this year, we will inquire and play, pay attention to our bodies, pay attention to each other and the present moment in an effort to experience all of life’s fullness.
Our retreat this year will be led by Tom Lee and Manning Phillips, M.B.A. Tom completed the Breakthrough 1&2 Workshop in 1990. He has participated in many Breakthrough 1, 2 & 3 Workshops as presenter and as a member of the leadership teams. Manning began his Breakthrough Journey in 2005 and has been a presenter of the workshop since 2015 and was chosen as one of two Workshop Leadership Council Co-Chairs.
